What is the Pet Remembrance service ?
This site is a place where you can share or simply declare your loss of a pet, companion
and good friend. An opportunity to leave a little something for everyone to see and read from
all parts of the world. With the help of our sponsor (Pets Remembered Ltd) we will
endeavour to keep your memorial online around the clock, 365 days a year, for the forseeable future.
How to add your own Memorial
Select the "Add Pet
Memorial" link at the top of any page, You will be asked to supply your pet's name
(dates of birth and departure are optional), a heading / title and your personal memorial. You
will be asked to select from a number of pictures; the chosen one will be displayed with your
memorial. At the end you will be able to preview your memorial and edit if required. Your
memorial will be saved to our database and verified prior to being displayed on
the internet. You will receive an email (see 'Personal Information Policy' below)
informing you as soon as your memorial has been accepted and posted to the site.
Can I remove a Memorial once posted?
No. Because we do not keep any personal information we cannot verify who actual posted the
memorial. When you submit your memorial you must take this into account and accept this.
Personal Information Policy
Any and all information collected from this site is used for the sole purposes of providing the
service as described in 'What is Pet Memorials' above. We do not forward or share
any information collected by, or through this website (petsremembrance.co.uk or
petsremembrance.com)
What information do we collect and store ?
We require a name and email address for the purposes of
notifying you when your memorial has been verified and activated. You will receive one email
from us informing you of the news and then your name and email address are deleted from the
system automatically.
Cookie policy
We do not use cookies on this site; you do not need to have cookies enabled to add your memorial.
Availability
It is our intention is to keep the Pets Remembrance website online 24hrs a day 365 days a year.
It is possible that, due to circumstances beyond our control, memorials may not be available to view at
some times. Pets Remembrance backs up data held on the site on a regular basis. However Pets
Remembrance will not be held responsible for any loss or corruption of any data held on the website.
Validation
Pets Remembrance has the option to reject new applications to the site should we feel they are
not appropriate. Pets Remembrance reserves the right to remove any application via our
validation process if we considered it harmful or inappropriate.
